Infinity & Geometry
Infinity knots
In human civilization, one of the important development is the knotting system. The ancient Chinese and Inca people used knots for recording. It started with grass or weeds as materials and evolved to use bamboo, rattan and metals.
Interestingly human's yearning for eternity is being shown in the knotting systems too, from different cultures and religions.
Infinity knot is such knotting system that it represents eternity where there is no beginning or end. Here at ClayInfinity Studio , one of JC's signature decoration is the "Infinity Knots" also known as "Celtic knots".
Geometry
Geometry might sound mathematical to a lot of people. However everything you see and touch is built up by the simplest form of geometry "dot". From dots you form lines and from lines you form shapes. The 2 most basic shapes are the circle and triangle. Any uniform shapes are built by these 2.
The intricate geometric patterns at The Alhambra @ Granada Spain would awe anyone who's seen them. The magic of the ancient craftsmen were beyond imagination. Their precision of creating such art on the dome shape roof or ceiling is simply magical.
